Simply Unrivaled
You can’t beat simplicity. Washing your hands after meals, blessing your food, running errands, oil changes and just lounging.
For the past two weeks I’ve been jogging for half an hour at the track nearest my house daily. There’s always someone there which is comforting, kind of like being a single fish and seeing a school of fish going the same way as you, it’s just satisfying. Old people love to talk and I love to listen cause everything they say is undeniably golden or just hilarious. This one particular older guy noticed I had a Mets fitted on and began a conversation just off that. Truthfully I don’t know much about baseball but I played along and shot the bullshit with him. At some point I forget we were even jogging until he left, he talked about baseball for a minute, stuff like no matter how much he hates the Yankees he can’t deny they have a team that always makes it. I just listened intensively cause he made it into somewhat of a story that came right around to him.
Before he left he asked me, “You don’t play do you?”,”Not at all sir, why do you ask?”,”I forgot to mention I use to play for the White Sox.”
