I tried synthetic weed last night with a group of friends.

That shit isn’t even remotely like marijuana I’ve never tripped this badly before or been that shook. The high had about three levels of existence for me, after smoking I was convinced it was really a weed equivalent. We went to Wal-mart and bought a sound system that we were going to return the next day so everyone was dancing. I’m getting ahead of myself, it was a mixed group of us all at our friend’s new place so we needed some music that night. We huddled up and started smoking the syncth, someone thought it would be a good idea to cut the lights and turn on the strobe light. The strobe made life go from 60 frames a second to like 10. When I was tripping I spent a good amount of time hiding from it.

A few puffs and passes in everything was cool, I think my biggest mistake was smoking it like it was weed, even on the pack it says warningily “NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION”. I couldn’t help but keep a little two step going to the music, hands would eventually go up for a drop which let me know I’m inebriated. Minutes later I’m tired of standing and moving but I can’t stop but it offset the vibrations. I tried to focus on the things around me but the harder I tried the more everything looked like huge pixels. My eyesight felt like it was zooming into a molecular level of sight but everything just got even more pixelated. The whole time that was going on I felt like I was at sea, the waves being my likeness to fall any second. A large amount of time was spent trying not to fall but I did. Everyone told me I just straight hit the floor with my cup in hand, they were worried but I kept assuring them I was okay. I wasn’t, during that trip I found religion, came to terms with dying, I wanted to cry I thought I was in this purgatory I created.
